We at Polgain Limited are manufacturers of Cams, Camshafts and Precision Engineering Products. Created as part of the Saint Vincent Holdings group of companies in 2002, based in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

CAMS. Our highly skilled team have the best machines and equipment to manufacture cams from a wide variety of materials to suit most heat treatment requirements. We can work to customer’s drawings or supplied samples. We provide castings, forgings, steel bar and heat treatment services which are knowledgeably sourced from our expert engineering office. Some of typical product types we offer includes: plate cams, barrel cams, face cams, winding cams, swing arm cams and conjugate cams. These particular parts can be milled or ground to suit customer’s individual requirements. We are also able to grind plate cam profiles up to 1300mmØ and barrel cams up to 900mmØ. Some business sectors that support Cam service includes: bottling, canning, packaging, pharmaceuticals and power generation.

CAMSHAFTS. We have also become quite renowned for manufacturing camshafts from a wide variety of materials to suit most heat treatment requirements. These too can be worked to customer’s drawings or supplied samples. We have the best machines at our disposal, some of which includes CNC Landis camshaft grinding and Adcole contour measuring machines which enables us to manufacture camshafts to a maximum length of 1800mm with a minimum inverse radius of 70mm. We can also generate polygons, eccentrics, flats and many other forms too.
