We at Cooper Lock & Key are a shop in Chelmsford, Essex who are offering an excellent range of keys and locks, alongside a wide range of hardware. There is free parking available where we are based and there is full access for people with disabilities. We have a deep passion for all classic vehicles as we have our own classic cars.

Ever since we first established in 1971, we have built a fantastic reputation for our top quality key cutting of all types of keys from copy, code to lock. In this everchanging world we live in, where technology and security is always increasing especially in the motor industry, we have been approved to carry many of the programmes to cut, programme and re-programme keys and remotes for a wide range of modern vehicles.

We carry a large stock of blanks covering British Cars, Motor cycles and commercial vehicles from the past 60 years and so on. Our range extends to most: European Japanese, German and American CLASSIC CARS too.

We are able to cut and program keys also for VAUXHALL, SKODA, ROVER, PEUGEOT, FORD, CITROEN, AUDI, SEAT, VW, JAGUAR and more. We are able to cut a new set of keys for you by using either your old key, the key code or from the lock itself. We can service and repair the lock on your classic car and we can also alter the same sort of locks so that all can be operated from one key just like if it was new.
