We at Classic Car Engines Ltd are an engine restoration company who specialises in restoring and rebuilding Classic Straight Six Jaguar Engines such as the 2.4, 3.4, 3.8, and 4.2, and Jaguar V12s. Even though Jaguars are our speciality, our team are more than happy to restore several other marques too, such as MG, Land Rover and American V8s. We always like to give our customers a personal service by involving them in the process if they so wish it. As an added bonus, we also buy and sell engines, and offer unique Masterclasses on how to rebuild engines, and a selection of DVDs.
When we restore and rebuild engines, our usual procedure would include firstly stripping down the engine, and then inviting the customer to come in and see the condition, so we can decide together what should be done. If however it is not very convenient for you to come in and visit us at this stage then we can send photographs to illustrate any areas of choice. We guarantee we will not compromise on quality, but neither will we insist on any unnecessary procedures.
We regularly restore engines for a part exchange or for out-right sales, so if you have an engine for sale or looking to buy a certain model, than look no further than us! If we do not have the specific engine you are looking for, then you would be pleased to hear that with our vast stock of un-restored Jaguar engines, we can often build to order.
The sought-after skills we have developed are becoming rarer, so through our selection of DVDs and masterclasses, we are committed to helping the next generation learn these skills, and understand and enjoy their classic cars. Our unique Masterclasses will give you hands on experience with a very experienced engine builder in one-to-one scenarios. The DVDs for sale show in detail how to rebuild a variety of different engines, such as the push rod, twin cam and overhead cam engines.
