We at Ashley & James Coachbuilding Ltd specialise in the recreation of classic and vintage bodywork. We can recreate any bodies from drawings and photos. We also specialise in sympathetic restoration where originality is absolutely paramount and do in-house ash framing. We can repair or replace parts of broken or rotten ash frames or total frame re-builds.

We have previously made bodies and restored cars such as Jan Biekens’ Ferrari sharknose recreation, Bruce Rudin’s Amelia island winning Cisitalia Nuvolari Spyder and Simon Taylor’s Pebble Beach winning Gurney Nutting Derby Bentley to name just a few. We mainly work with private individuals that are passionate about classic cars and other top restoration companies specialising in unique projects.
