We at AGRA are precision engineering specialists offering a range of machining services using a unique variety of skills and technology for many sectors including the automotive industry and offshore & marine Industries. Our team of experienced and highly skilled engineers have built an amazing reputation over the years for producing high quality work and solving unique and complex problems. Our workshop here in Dundee is fully equipped with the latest technology and has the capability for producing both one off solutions and large batch orders of precision engineered parts and components.

One of our specialities is restoring both classic and vintage vehicles and machines. We have vast experience in the repair and restoration of a wide range of vehicles including classic racing cars and large steam engines, and we also repair and engineer components which are no longer available.

For classic engines, we have a fully equipped automotive engineering machine-shop where we regularly carry out a number of services such as: white-metalling, line-boring, lead-free conversions, liner conversions, balancing, re-boring, honing, crankshaft re-grinding, surface grinding and more. We have the knowledge and experience to give our customers the best solutions for your vehicle! For classic car transmissions, we have an on-site gear-cutting department and regularly refurbish, re-manufacture and reverse engineer everything from drive-shafts, hubs & axles to complete gearboxes. We are able to do gear-manufacturing, splining, keying, turning, milling, welding, brazing and general fabrication work. Plus we can repair damaged gearboxes and can turn rough cast casings into fully functioning gearboxes.

Since we first established, we have developed strong links with the motorsport industry and are very proud to say, we have our very own racing team – Agra Racing. Our competition department are able to engineer, test and build competition race engines for a range of motorsport categories.
