We at South Cerney Engineering Ltd are a specialist automotive machine shop offering general & precision engineering and manufacturing services. Our World class engineers are able to do everything from white metalling and vapour blasting to engine rebuilding for those in Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and across the UK. Since we first established in the 70’s, we have been entrusted to do engine work for some of the oldest, rarest and most exotic types of vehicles. Our highly skilled team have combined expertise amounting to over 250 years! This ensures that we are comfortable on working on any form of internal combustion engine. So no matter if you have a Model T Ford, Amilcar, Ferrari, or a big-block V8 drag racing motor – we know about engines!
Finding it hard to get parts for your old engine, then you will pleased to hear, we can manufacture and white metal new main and conrod bearings for it. Plus we have the capacity to manufacture many hard to find or obsolete items too. We have the best facilities within our extensive machine shop for cylinder block reboring and linering, crankshaft regrinding, and cylinder head machining including fitting hardened valve seat inserts along with being white metalling specialists.
Even though most of our work comes from restoration companies, we are always happy to discuss projects with car owners who wish to undertake the own restoration project themselves. We are able to work on any kind of engine, from vintage to modern.
